Privacy Policy

1.2. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

1.3. This policy covers the GamerOne website (gamerone.org), your account at app.gamerone.org, the GamerOne Windows desktop app and the GamerOne Discord bot (together, the "Platform").

1.4. If you live in Türkiye, the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) also applies; see our Turkish KVKK notice at gamerone.org/yasal/kvkk.

Which data we process depends on the features you use.

2.1. Purchases in Türkiye only: if you buy GamerOne Plus in Türkiye, we also process billing data required by Turkish law (name, phone, billing address and Turkish ID number). This is explained in the Turkish texts and does not apply to purchases through Paddle.

2.2. Data about other players: match results and lobby information can include the public in-game names and statistics of other players in the same match, including people who do not use GamerOne. We receive these from Riot Games' services or from your local game client and use them only to show match history and match statistics, based on our legitimate interest in providing these features. If you do not use GamerOne and want us to stop showing such data, write to [email protected]; we will first check that the Riot account is yours.

• From you: when you register, edit your profile, use features, contact us or apply as a partner.
• From linked services: Riot Games (through the Riot API), Discord and Twitch, when you connect these accounts.
• From the desktop app: the app connects to your local League of Legends client (see Section 9).
• From Paddle: subscription and payment status for purchases outside Türkiye.
• Automatically: server logs, cookies and similar technologies.

4.1. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you can object at any time (Section 8).

4.2. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time – for cookies through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.

4.3. Providing your data is not required by law. Without account data you cannot use the Platform; without Riot account data quests and match features do not work.

5.1. We use automated systems to detect suspicious activity such as bots, multiple accounts or reward farming. These systems can flag an account or hold back G1P for review.

5.2. You can object to any such result by writing to [email protected]. A person reviews every objection.

5.3. We do not build advertising profiles from your account, game or G1P data. If you consent to marketing cookies on gamerone.org, Meta can use the data from the Meta Pixel to show you GamerOne ads and to measure them (Section 6 and our Cookie Policy).

We share data only as far as needed for the purposes above. We do not sell your data.

6.1. Other users can see your public profile, your position in leaderboards and community content you post. You can limit what others see (match history, badges, statistics, activity) in your account settings under "Privacy".

6.2. Meta Pixel – joint controllership: for collecting the pixel data on gamerone.org and sending it to Meta, GamerOne and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland) are jointly responsible under Art. 26 GDPR. You can exercise your rights towards either of us. For what Meta does with the data afterwards, Meta alone is responsible: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy. On request we will tell you the essence of our arrangement with Meta.

6.3. If GamerOne or part of its business is sold or merged, your data may pass to the new owner, who must continue to protect it under this policy. We will inform you beforehand.

7.1. GamerOne is based in Türkiye. When you use the Platform, your data is processed by us in Türkiye. Our servers are hosted by Hetzner in Germany.

7.2. Some recipients in Section 6 are in the United Kingdom or the USA:

• United Kingdom: covered by an EU adequacy decision.
• USA: where the recipient is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, we rely on that adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR); otherwise we use the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

7.3. You can ask us for information about these safeguards at [email protected].

8.1. Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access your data and get a copy (Art. 15),
• correct inaccurate data (Art. 16),
• delete your data (Art. 17),
• restrict processing (Art. 18),
• data portability – receive data you gave us in a machine-readable format (Art. 20),
• object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21),
• withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)).

8.2. In your account: you can change profile and privacy settings, download a copy of your account and profile data as a JSON file, and delete your account under Settings. For other data (for example match history or transaction records), write to us.

8.3. How to contact us: email [email protected] from the email address linked to your account. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We answer within one month; in complex cases we may extend this by up to two more months and will tell you why.

8.4. Complaints: you can complain to a data protection supervisory authority, especially in the EU country where you live or work. A list of EU authorities is available at https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en.

9.1. The GamerOne Windows app connects to your local League of Legends client to detect the client and sync matches and quests. This connection is read-only: the app does not change the game or game files and does not scan your personal files.

9.2. Your session keys are stored securely in the Windows Credential Manager.

9.3. The app contains no third-party analytics, telemetry or advertising tools. Diagnostic logs are kept only on your device.

We use necessary cookies and browser storage to run the Platform. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and, on gamerone.org, marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) are used only if you switch them on in the cookie banner. You can choose each category separately and change your choice at any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Details: our Cookie Policy at gamerone.org/en/legal/cookies.

12.1. GamerOne is not intended for children under 13. Users under 18 need the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian; paid services are available only to users aged 18 or over, or with parental consent.

12.2. In EU countries, children below the age at which they can consent to online services themselves (between 13 and 16 depending on the country; 16 in Germany) need the consent of a parent or guardian for optional cookies. If we learn that such consent is missing, we treat the optional cookies as rejected.

We protect your data with TLS encryption for all traffic, strong one-way hashing for passwords, AES-256-GCM encryption for sensitive fields (such as Turkish ID numbers and digital product codes), access controls, short-lived access tokens with httpOnly cookies, and audit logs for administrator actions.

We will announce important changes on the Platform and/or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows the current version.

This policy is available in English, German and Turkish. All versions have the same content.
